It had to do with the number 13. Unlucky? Well, let's see what happens. The bash began with the following people (both participants and observers). *qw Heiach the chimerical wizard Dara the necromancess Jinxed the cursed sorceress Monmonnn the warlock Cenedra the mischievous mage [b]Part One: A rough basilisk and undead adversaries[/b] Jinxed found herself materializing out in the gardens, and promptly made a beeline to the maze, slaughtering all the bees in her path. Dara, meanwhile, appeared in the area not far from the Admiral Bombow Inn, grabbed the staff, and disposed of the raven and the mouse. Dara would then head to the east side of the river and fight the fox. Monmonnn was voted bash general. As Dara hunted the stag, Monmonnn went to the wolf's lair and used a trick to remove the wolf from the set quicker. Monmonnn would go on to seek the basilisk, while Dara disposed of the piglet and the scorpion. She ended up using the monastery's phial in the process, and managed to remove the wyvern from the picture. Everyone made it to the ruin for the pillar buff. Dara would go on to fight the goat, while Monmonnn noted that the basilisk was a tough fight this set. Jinxed decided to pop over to the mausoleum, to try to sort that headache out. Luckily, today's bash brainteaser was one of the simpler ones. Zombie7 went down without too much hassle, but Jinxed decided to rest up a little before challenging skeleton2 to a bit of croquet. Somewhere along the line, Jinxed alerted everyone else to the fact that the mausoleum mobiles had been set loose. Dara quickly dropped the ox from the bash. *who Heiach the chimerical wizard Paine the matriarch Drizzle the wobbly mage Dara the necromancess Jinxed the cursed sorceress Monmonnn the bash-general warlock *Monmonnn the bash-general warlock shouts "The thief's life is being stolen!". *You can hear the sound of rain on the trees. *Jinxed the cursed sorceress shouts "it is time for The Bone Zone.". *wh jinxed 1 in the place known as "mausoleum". Dara, meanwhile, noted that the pagoda area was open, and sought out the group of apes roaming the ape forest. She fought and brought down their leader, ape0, creating chaos and confusion amongst the rest of the apes. Jinxed would soon announce "sk2's been dealt with!". Skeleton2 brought a sceptre to the fight, which hurt quite a bit. But Jinxed was able to pull through, and smashed right through that bony foe. As Dara and Jinxed rested from their respective fights, Monmonnn shouted "The vampire is going down! I hope." *Jinxed the cursed sorceress shouts "need backup?". You have just been woken up! Your stamina is 115. *Monmonnn the bash-general warlock shouts "Vampire down!". *Jinxed the cursed sorceress cheers. Dara would then go on to shut down the free pony rides in the northeast pasture east of the snowy mountainside. Monmonnn helped Jinxed to slay the wraith (ultimately being the one to finish it off). Monmonnn made his way to the keep, whilst Jinxed found herself delayed by a few zombies. After bringing down the snowbird, Dara would go on to fight the monk and ape9. Both Monmonnn and Jinxed would have some detours from the keep, as Monmonnn's attempt to summon assistance failed, and so they would get rid of some rats before eventually coming together to do keep. Jinxed also managed to take out the snugglepuss along the way. [b]Part Two: Pagoda, Dwarfs, and Bad Luck[/b] *who Heiach the chimerical wizard Paine the moogly matriarch Drizzle the wobbly mage Dara the explara necromancess Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress Monmonnn the boaring, bash-general warlock As Monmonnn and Jinxed got together to venture into the upper levels of the keep, and Dara prepared to deal with the mobiles on the ground floor of the pagoda, there came the following message: *For your information: the giant0 is worth 678 points if killed. *Monmonnn the boaring, bash-general warlock shouts "Oh my.". *sv 111 alive, 183 dead. *wh giant0 Your spell doesn't find any. *Heiach the chimerical wizard shouts "joking" No, the giants area had not opened, and the giants and such were NOT active in the bash. It was a joke. It was just as well, since Dara was busy with the pagoda and Monmonnn and Jinxed had the keep to deal with. Dara would finish off ape8 while Monmonnn was fighting the griffin. Eventually, Monmonnn and Jinxed would reach the top floor of the keep. The Maiden fell rather quickly, but one of her crows did manage to escape the fight. Jinxed went back down to try sorting out that problem, but... You shout "crowloose!". * The crow shouts "you'll never catch me!". * Heiach the chimerical wizard shouts "fly crow, fly!". * Heiach the chimerical wizard shouts "quick let's summon the crow to safety!". * Heiach the chimerical wizard shouts "yay we summoned it". * where crow2 1 in the place known as "Elizabethan tearoom". Dara, meanwhile, was too busy fighting ape11, and then ape10 to go looking for the crow. She had to sleep off both the fights and the incense she inhaled from pursuing one of her targets into a room with incense burners. Meanwhile, Monmonnn ran into the hunchback. *Monmonnn the boaring, bash-general warlock shouts "This is a very strong hunchback...". Monmonnn would manage to take down the hunchback, and then a short time later would announce that the escaped crow had been clipped, and that he would be venturing to the dwarf citadel soon. Monmonnn would cause a flood in the mines along the way. Meanwhile, Jinxed got slightly delayed by a ram. Dara would venture into the pagoda courtyard, and find the carp. Heiach announced "92 in 61". Monmonnn would point out a zombie in the graveyard, while Dara ran into the tiger, who had returned to the entrance to the courtyard before her. Dara would finish the tiger, and went on to bring down the giant snake. There were now 68 mobiles left, with 55 minutes to go. *Heiach the chimerical wizard invites you to cast your vote will they complete the bash?. *For your information: the period of voting has ended. The result was "POSSIBLY"/"YES!"/"I BELIEVE IN YOU!". *who Heiach the chimerical wizard Paine the moogly matriarch Drizzle the wobbly mage Dara the explara necromancess Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress Monmonnn the boaring, bash-general warlock While Jinxed was facing the stocky dwarf guards, Monmonnn was busy dealing with the other dwarfs. *Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress shouts "stockies down!". Dara the explara necromancess shouts "No expert in the stock market, but that sounds bad for them. :)". Jinxed rested a bit, and Monmonnn announced "The hefty guards are engaged!" Heiach the chimerical wizard shouts "congratulations to them" Monmonnn the boaring, bash-general warlock shouts "It was a quick reception." Dara, meanwhile, made her way to the upper floor of the pagoda, where she did some ghostbusting. Jinxed rejoined Monmonnn in time for a battle with the burly dwarf guards. *Heiach the chimerical wizard shouts "52 in 47, looking promising". Jinxed would go on to assist with the confrontation with the dwarf monarchs (both of whom would flee and be finished off by Monmonnn). *For your information: there are 50 mobiles still alive. (Persona saved on +300 = 46,270). *Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed necromancess cheers. Dara, meanwhile, had ventured to another level of the pagoda, and took down the thief and the mongoose. Monmonnn took down the thickset dwarf guards. Dara soon left the pagoda to rest elsewhere, while Heiach noted that the rats were gone, but certain water-dwelling reptiles were still around. Monmonnn and Jinxed would go on to face the surly dwarf guards, but then the following happened. *Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed necromancess shouts "wow, these surlies are tough". *In the distance, you hear a bell toll. * *obit The following players have died in fights this reset: Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress, killed by 3 surly dwarf guards. *Monmonnn the boaring, bash-general warlock shouts "Oh no.". *Heiach the chimerical wizard shouts "RIP". And so mere seconds after Jinxed uttered those Last Words "wow, these surlies are tough", she was dealt a mortal blow. But what happened? Monmonn said "It was horrible, I walked into the room, three dwarves assailed poor Jinxed - and suddenly they fell asleep. It was a disaster." And here's what Monmonnn saw: Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress makes some magical gestures. Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress has just fallen asleep. Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress has woken up! You hear a slicing sound, as the surly dwarf11 guard hits Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress with his shortsword. Jinxed the dragonfly-slaying, cursed sorceress kicks the bucket. In the distance, you hear a bell toll. *Monmonnn the boaring, bash-general warlock shouts "Jinxed slept. In the middle of the guards...". *Heiach the chimerical wizard shouts "probably not on purpose, a failed rs?". Dara the explara necromancess shouts "Famous Last Words: wow, these surlies are tough. Going to note that for the report of this bash.". Monmonnn noted that this was the second time in a bash this year that a player character had died to the surly dwarf guards. In any case, we had lost Jinxed, and were down a participant. But we would soon be joined by someone we hadn't seen in a while. [b](Parts Three, Four, and Five in the next post)[/b] [/quote]
