What has happened to Muddled Times? We mortals get bullied into submitting articles by certain dead-lines and nothing gets published. You will have to call it Muddled Annual soon.

I heard that it was decided 'up on high' that no one would be in the slightest bit interested in reading the twenty seven, five thousand word articles that you sent in for inclusion in the 'mag'.

You've been 'spiked'. Get over it sunshine.

Why is Blib always so negative or nasty on the forums?

As above, "who is interested in your writings," etc.

Previously having a go at Royston for taking the time to write up an interesting and full report of a bash,

Fronting the "Have Hal banned" campaign

Always seeming to attack anything good game related ...

If Blib is trying to be funny, or if this is just a quirk of his personae then I've missed this by a mile, it just looks petty minded and vindictive against Royston, Hal and others in the past.

Imagine you are a newbie who sees this sort of attack on the forums, would you want to play here???

I don't play right now ..... but do pop on to look over the forums, and I am disappointed this sort of thing goes on.

Shame...

I always value Blib's input. And take everything he says seriously

i agree wholeheartedly with vulnax.... i've lost count of the amount of times i have been belittled and intimidated by blib in the most gruesome of way's and have been close to dying several times by his shameless cries of "fleeing is for wimps".
i believe that this man is nothing but a bully who has nothing but the destruction of this game in mind and hereby propose a new campaign

BAN BLIB!!!!

ps. by the way vulnax i'm joking i actually like blib and think he's one of the funniest characters we have in the game and personally i think he supports mud more then some people by actually being "on it" sometimes

Can we get back to the subject of this thread?

Where is MT?

Royston,

The reason that I never got round to publishing MT was mainly due to my own lethargy. Now that I am out of work, I will of course but MT where it belongs, the top of the priorities.

Seriously though, I will.

Cf: Let me know if I can help in any way. I used to do a similar thing for MUD1.

Vulnax: I actually think Blib is too positive and tolerant. If he were more proactive and motivated in his hatred of Hal and points, Hal would be banned, points would be moot, and the Land would be full of fluffy bunnies, rainbows, singing angels and an instantaneous Makewiz command. Blib, light a fire under it, would you?? We're waiting!

You know, I thought that was something on my screen!

My post was part tongue-in-cheek, I know ( assume ) Blib is just being devils' advocate / winding up in the seemingly attacking posts but it does look a bit like it is meant on first glance.

Probably 'cos I don't get on here / out there.

Caboose, quite right, I haven't been on this year but now personal issues have quietened down I will try and find time even if only the bash or events for now.

I miss the Land and the people even if I ain't missed.

Is there a 'furiously backpeddling after completely misreading the situation', smiley I wonder?

Dunno, maybe I need to find one?

My reply was part in jest - trying to ape your style of cynical / sarcastic / ironic prose and part not while saying that it doesn't look good to newcomers when players seem to be slagging off each others efforts to do something for the game like an event write up or Muddled Times article.

Ok, I could do with style lessons in writing.

Your posts about Roystons good bash write ups for example look very critical and mean at first glance, I suppose those in the tea room room / playing with you frequently pick this up as your character / persona and don't take it seriously.
As cold hard text it does look like you are having a go.

No point in debating further, I probably flamingo'd up.
