We are half way through the Bash Season. Of the 26 weeks I can only account for 25. Of these we have succeeded in 7 and failed in 18. I have no idea what happened on 21st April. I think that was the week I was away. The reason for this high failure rate is simply lack of numbers. The weeks where we did succeed we had a good field of players. I know the more you have on makes the Pagoda and the Giants open up but with a couple of top flight players it makes little difference if they do.
The important point is even where we were not successful the Bashes were still very enjoyable to play. I urge players to put in an appearance no matter how unskilled they see themselves, on a Thursday evening at 9:00pm.
There were a number of 'Ad Hoc' bashes, many of which worked well and were successful.
We have had no other events yet this year. I don't think the even traditional Easter Bunny Bash was held on Easter Sunday. I personally would like to see some of these events take place on a regular basis. Heiach's heroic attempt running a Sorcerers' War on a Saturday seems to have hit the buffers. Maybe a Tuesday night at 9:00pm would be a better time. But maybe we should just concentrate on the weekly Bash and get some really good support for that first.

Thanks Turrican. I entered that on the spreadsheet. It means we 'lost' for 11 weeks running from 10/3 to 19/5. But this was preceded by three successive wins between 17/2 and 3/3.
