There will be a trial event on the 18th starting at 7pm GMT.
all you need is a novice and 2 hours to play.
Zedar will fill in anything I've missed

This Race Event hosted on the 18th July, starting at 7pm; before the bash.
It will last just one reset.
The objective to win, is to get as high level as you can by the end of the set! Anything goes!
Rewards:
The main reward is participating, but:
> Of course you get to keep your character.
> Winning this event: will net you a prefix of your choice*. So if I win, I could for example have 'Zedar the great hero'.
At the end of the set, if you are still alive:
> You're Level 7 (champion): you will be rewarded 2 icons.
> You're Level 6: (superhero): you will be rewarded a single icon.
I hope to see you there. I'll be 'giving' during the bash that follows, to those making an effort lol.
I know several players will be attending. But, if you get time, please let us know so we can get a feel for numbers

What do I get if I end the reset as a warlock...
It's cool that you've added some prizes for ending the reset at hero and superhero.. but why did you stop there?.. what about champ, guardian and legend? Heck Sir/Lady could even be achievable!

We'd put prizes on warlock and mage if you were playing Hei. ;-P

The following players have died in fights this reset:
Nog the dragonfly-slaying yeoman, killed by the ram,
Northman the yeoman, killed by Osterbane the swordsman,
Zedar the warrior, killed by Osterbane the swordsman,
Northman the protector, killed by the exceptionally large goblin (twice),
Northman the warrior, killed by the exceptionally large goblin,
(Zedar the warrior), killed by Osterbane the swordsman,
Northman the hero, killed by 2 zombies,
Zedar the warrior, killed by 2 goblins,
Zedar the yeoman, killed by Northman the swordsman.
The following non-first-game players have died to the touchstone this reset:
Northman the yeoman, short of luck by a very small amount.
Thanks ever so much to all those participating, I for one really had a blast.
There's talk of announcing one next Thursday - watch this space!
