It's Friday! No, wait, It's Saturday! Anyway, now I have some time here's a two minute bash report.

The bashers on Thursday were as follows:

Thwomp the swordsman
Pushover the necromancer
Skeuomorph the necromancer

The pagoda opened early which showed that the mobs were taking this bash seriously, no excuses from Ape0 this week. But the mortals were also taking this reset seriously, WOTB! The bash didn't get off to a fast start, but like a fine wine, or a chicken & mushroom pot noodle, some things are meant to be savoured. That was to be the way of this bash.

The slow start got a bit slower when Skeuomorph had to flee from the basilisk. Which, to be fair, wasn't quite as embarrassing as when he had to flee from the Stag a bit later on.

The players mostly did their own thing, only joining forces when an encounter really needed a show of strength, like for example the Twins, or, you know, for less formidable encounters...

The following players have died in fights this reset:
Osterbane the yeoman, killed by Skeuomorph the bash-general
necromancer, Thwomp the dragonfly-slaying swordsman and Pushover the
necromancer.

Thwomp and Pushover did most of the bash work. Skeuomorph cleared out the upstairs pagoda mobs, the apes and monk, Thwomp took care of the tiger and carp, with the pagoda done and fully accounted for everyone focused on the regular mobs.

Skeuomorph managed to get hold of 4 vials, however three of these were not great:

"POTION 7 - lose points".
"POTION 6 - decrease real stamina".
"POTION 1 - decrease effective strength".

Luckily the 4th vial contained the adroit necromancess potion. Skeuomorph quickly drank this and became an adroit necromancess.

mobs died, blah blah blah, more mobs died.

fast forward an hour or so...

Skeuomorph tried to 'wh' what was left, wh ogre, wh raven, wh zombies etc. etc. No sign of life.

Much to the surprise of everyone, there were a manageable number of mobiles left at the reset warning. And the mobile sv was down to three when the players teamed up to kill the Golem.

The final mobs died quickly and the 3k bonus was awarded with a few minutes to go. The fine wine was ready to be drunk. The pot noodle was a bit cold and stodgy. All in all, a good bash reset which deserves a thoughtful and insightful write up. But this will have to do.

For the record, the last three mobs were the Golem, the Giant Snake and the Ogre.

I loved the simplicity of this particular bash report.

But I am probably in a minority of one.

I used to try and capture the essence of the week's bash with a youtube popular music video, but I believe some forum readers objected to this style of reporting and insist on a more detailed report format.

So this week, and Pushover can correct me if I'm wrong, I think the watersnakes died in this order; 2, 0, 5, 3, 4, 1.

Wonderful write up as usual Folly. I always like the references to fine dining .

But (whispers) what did the bane do to deserve to die?

Also, thanks to Heiach for overseeing the bash!
