Whaddya say...

Make Mud2 free again.

Advertise it on MPOGD.com, slap a few banners in the client... you're laughing.

Last thing most players would want is a banner downloading while critically wounded fighting something/someone.

I can imagine the kind of mail Foddy would get:

Foddy
I was fighting the griffin when one of your poxy banners made me lag out. I WANT A RESTORE!!!

True, true. I can't believe Kurupt seriously suggested this. Especially since banners open popups these days...and popups can REALLY screw things up. MUD2 is difficult enough without pop-ups messing things up for players, and let's hope NO ONE (and I definately mean NO ONE) takes the banner/pop-up suggestion seriously.

I always thought product placement would work...

*sip tea
You sip your tea, it refreshes you almost instantly and you feel ready for (almost) anything. And to think that it's avaliable for just ?3.50 at your local Tesco supermarket.

It used to be true for me!!

Way back, I used to connect with Libertysurf because it gave you a free (and very laggy) connection during the day. It ran an advert banner across the top of your screen that I couldn't get rid of and some of the adverts were just huge.

It used to give me heart attacks, one day I was doing the draggy and this huge advert just blanked out the top half my screen and I wasn't sure if she was fed or not, or exactly what I was doing. It just totally put me off.

Not sure I'm convinced AOL is much better... it randomly kicks you off

I also had libertysurf..
I think I found a way to get rid of the banners... I think it involved crashing explorer (not IE).. it worked.. but it wasn't healthy for my computer.

Don't think I ever used libertysurf. I do remember using one that was free between about 6-8pm...however it only appeared to support about 2 people using it so you'd normally end up connecting at about 7:56.

Haha. Small ISP's and their inability to be efficient. How I chuckle.

Can we please get some decent ISP's over here?

I'm called YOU America!!! HOOT!

I like Guiness, explain to me quickly if there is a better drink. Cause I defy you to do so. It will be engraved on the old epitaph, I'm sure.
