Thought you might like a quick update on what's happening this month, as the event Calendar is deliberately vague, mentioning only that it is called the Obsidian Challenge.

Here's a few clues. Multiple game zones. Challenges of a mental, physical and skill nature. Deranged arch-wizard frollicking about with a bald head and fake leopard-skin coat (what do you mean that's not new???). Ring any bells?

This is going to be a team event, with sorcerised persona. It would be hugely useful to me if you could give me an idea how many people are likely to want to play, so that i can plan strategy for what events can be done simultaneously etc. And how many people per team would work.

Thanks

Interestingly enough when we ran MUD Big Brother I wrote (a never submitted) MT article on other TV show adaptions for quests, the crystal maze topped the list.

Now I swear there was a reason I never submitted that idea...

How about MUD Survivor? A bunch of players are stranded on the dragon island and get to vote on who gets HAWUMPHed. (g)

That has promise ..
Then again you could do a MUD version of a lot of the currently "popular" tv show themes.... *shudders somewhat*..

*looks at the pilot show*

I'm a wizard, get me out of here?
Big Brother
Survivor
Wife Swap
Player Killer's wives
Crufts
Knightmare
Chess

Ok, I seem to have strayed into sureality... hmm.. never mind..

But yea... could be fun!

Thursday eh?.. If someone reminds be every 5 minutes from 20:00 I might be able to make it

*Eric walks onto the stage, with his pet ox*
*Heiach proudly stuts into view with his pet firefly0*
*Hawumph saunters into the spotlight with his pet dragon*

Unsuprizingly, Hawumph wins.. as the rest of the "dogs" have some how disappeared.. and for some reason, there is a lot of ash about.

For the record, Americans spell 'surprised' with an 's' instead of a 'z'.

Survivor - that just calls out to the evil EVIL side of me.

Crufts sounds naff, I'd never get anyone to walk in a straight line, never mind looking bright eyed and/or bushy tailed.

I'm off to be be creatively evil - in a nice way - watch this space!
