I hope that isn't a threat. I can send you a log of what happened when the last player bullied me. Is your email address still the same as on your profile? Let me know.

I know what you mean but you can zap up fighting the water-snakes if you attack them at Novice level. There is also the advantage that if you are on zero points, you don't loose any for fleeing.

Usually this only happens if you are abusing the feature for purposes it wasn't intended for. But you'd know more about that than me, eh?

Au contraire mon vieux Armand, au contraire - after all, I've never had an account nuked for abuse, eh?

Coming up with a counter-accusation isn't the same thing as denial, you know.

Going back on topic, I don't believe you will ever receive the sort of treatment described (poisoned spring water etc) as long as you aren't taking the mickey with its usage. Auto-drinking your way to a low level is fine, amassing hundreds of lowbies in a row is probably not, as the wiz will mostly likely (and rightly) take the view that there is no legitimate purpose for doing so.

I wish I hadn't started this. I bet Armand has the last word unless Blib joins in.

I have no wish for further drama. I was only trying to make the point that auto-drinking is probably acceptable unless you abuse it, and that if you are on the receiving end of lots of wiz interference, then you are probably abusing it. This is what I have seen in practice, including the examples that were given by Angkor, and including my own personal experience, having done it frequently to swordsman/hero without clashing with wizzes over it (I'm lazy and dislike those first few levels where my stats are rubbish )

Just for the record:

You hit the rat6 (15-19).
You have killed the rat6.
You have changed experience level from superhero to champion.

Spring.

The water flows smoothly through your body and fills you with a vibrant
energy. A second or so later, however, you feel dizzy, and find yourself
falling into a deep sleep...
