We've done TMS campaigns a couple of times on BL and I can say that it definitely works if you can get into the top 10, and to a much lesser extent, the top 20. It is hard work though and will probably need at least 5 players dedicated to voting as close to twice per day as possible, as well as the less dedicated players voting when encouraged to.

One thing you can do is set your homepage in your browser to the link above. That way you are reminded to vote every time you load your browser.

Don't talk to me about BL. Every time I log on I have to start from scratch. It can't remember me for more than five minutes

You can thank Viktor for that. I have brought it up with him several times. His opinion is that if you haven't played for 60 days then you probably aren't coming back, so you get deleted. I'm glad mudii is more reasonable about this, as there are many players who return after months and years of not playing.

If it makes you feel any better by the way, I have lost some 60+ legends on BL over the years, and I know a couple of people who lost hundreds

It looks like we are 108th in the ranking. It also says you have to pay. That needs changing.

Better ask Karya then, looks like she set it up and some time before it went free?

100 now, and I'm pretty sure it was closer to 120 when I checked a couple of days ago. Jumping through the lower numbers is pretty easy, but breaking the 20th barrier will be a challenge. It also gets easier when they reset it (every 2 weeks I think) because everyone will start from zero votes.

As one pedant to another, by lower did you mean higher?

If someone has an account on topmudsites.com perhaps you could post something here on their forums.

up to 79 now, so movement is fairly fluid at that level...

AS Turrican sys, best if it does actually reflet current policies including costs if any...?

No, it's best delayed until there's no need to explain why the desc is out of date.
