The votes have reset back to zero. I think if we all make a renewed effort to vote, we can hit number 20 and get onto the homepage. We are currently 14

Rank 12th so keep up the voting guys. We have around 4 new players who have been regulars for the last 2 - 3 weeks so everything is looking good at the moment, hopefully we can gain a few more new players as a result of our improved ranking.

The "6 out" means the number of people who have clicked through to the mudii.co.uk website.

After a reset there is always a lot of rapid up and down movement on the rankings while the first few votes trickle in, but the real battle will be to try to hold onto number 20. I was watching the rankings towards the end of the last round and we needed about 50% more votes than we were getting, to reach 20. That isn't an impossible task I think. Just means that those of us who are voting casually need to try to get in the 2 per day, and we need to try to persuade non-voters to vote

Voting from work should be fine, as long as it is a different computer (not a laptop you take in), and iphone should be fine as well.

Getting 6 votes that way will be tricky though, as you can only vote every 12 hours. You'd have to be a pretty unlucky person to be working that long!

So I'm unlucky. What's even more unlucky is the company filter blocks sites such as this

Have you tried going directly to topmudsites? If that is not blocked but mudii.co.uk is, you can still vote by saving a copy of the vote url on your work machine.

How does the 12 hours work? Is it 12 hours after you last voted or does it click in at a certain times of the day?

This is what the site says:

Quote:
How often can I vote?
Your vote will count only once every 12 hours. For the most part, the script will stop someone from inflating their votes. If I catch you cheating such as using open proxies, I'll give you a warning, then suspend you, then ban you from the list. The integrity of this site is based on the fact that cheating will not get you to the top, and that the rankings are as fair as they can be.

I would take that to mean that when you submit a vote, exactly 12 hours has to pass before your next vote will be counted.

We're doing well! Been consistently hovering around position 16, and we've had 30 click-throughs.

We're 20th and have been for a few days, about 30 votes above 21st and the next page, and 40 ish behind 19th place.

Lots of click thru's tho...
