Since we seem to have a lot of interest in Sorc Wars atm. I was thinking of invoking specific rules. Perhaps we could have regular Sorc Wars each week like we have Bashes - or even a League!
Let me know what you think?
Ideas for rules for the event.
Ideas for scoring for the league if we do that too.

Ok here are my thoughts so far:
Everyone has 3 lives (that's 2 re-sorcs). You enter the land and gather kit, kill as normal.
You score League Points at the end of the event as follows:
1st place = 5 points
2nd place = 4 points
3rd place = 3 points
4th place = 2 points
5th place = 1 point
Once you have points you can then spend them ready for the next event (or keep them so you're still in the lead!). I was thinking something like:
1 point = 1 wafer
2 points = 1 mandrake
3 points = 1 (decent) sword
Maybe potentially have a cost for lives or something, but yeah.. lemme know what you think on this?

It sounds good to me. I was going to suggest that once a month on a Thursday (say last Thursday of the month), we did something other than a bash.
But this would have my full support. And I wear it well.

Also how many weeks would you want the league to run each "season" if we did have one? Can be several in a year.. Also what could the prize be...

Thinking about it.. the items you'd have paid for would be on your first life, subsequent lives wouldn't have them.. and I didn't intend for League Points to be spent DURING the event... thoughts?

OK I wanna get this thing rolling. I say we should have the first one on Saturday the 15th at 7pm. The rules will be sorted out by then me thinks. Please keep adding your ideas and suggestions!

I am thinking that (at least to start with), we'll have each run of the league last 4 weeks with a prize given out at the end of that time and all of the points reset for the next league run.. Thoughts?
Ok here we go:
You can spend points on items before each event, you get those items with your first sorcerer (let's hope you don't die and win!). You can't spend points on your re-sorcs after that and you certainly can't spend points mid-combat!
I'll also probably be adding more items to the "shop" for spending of points (ideas welcome!). Who knows, maybe no-one wants to spend points anyway!

All participants enter the Tearoom at the start of the set. Everyone has 3

AT the end of the reset (or when there is only 1 person left) points will be
awarded as follows:
First Place = 5 points
Second Place = 4 points
Third Place = 3 points
Fouth Place = 2 points
Fifth Place = 1 point
Points are obviously used to indicate who the winner is after each 4-week
cycle. Points can also be spent between events to buy useful items for use on
the first sorcerer you get each event. After 4 weeks, the points are totalled
up and the winner declared. Prizes will be distributed and everything is then
reset for the next 4-week run of the league.
*Hiding is not tolerated and will be punished accordingly!
The Sorcerer War League happens every Saturday at 7pm!"

How about we give a monthly prefix for the league winner at the end of each month which lasts until the next winner is announced, like "Sorc war winner" or something along those lines.

I still struggle killing the simplest of mobs but I'm definitely interested. 
Might keep me out of the pub on a Saturday night too!
