I thought I'd start a new thread, the last one was getting a little confuddled.
Written on the Sorcerer War League sign is: "
Sorcerer War League
All participants enter the Tearoom at the start of the set. Everyone has 3
lives (that's 2 re-sorcs)
At the end of the reset (or when there is only 1 person left) points will be
awarded as follows:
First Place = 6 points
Second Place = 5 points
Third Place = 4 points
Fouth Place = 3 points
Fifth Place = 2 points
Sixth Place = 1 point
The mud will be reset and the second round (2 each week) will then run - That's a
possible 12 points each week! Points are obviously used to indicate who the
winner is after each 4-week cycle. Points can also be spent between events to
buy useful items for use on
the first sorcerer you get each event. After 4 weeks, the points are totalled
up and the winner declared. Prizes will be distributed and everything is then
reset for the next 4-week run of the league.
*Hiding is not tolerated and will be punished accordingly!
*If you arrive late, you will be allowed to join providing (1) no-one has died and
(2) no more than 15 minutes have passed since the start of the event
*If you QQ accidentally, you will be returned to the game on the same score, stamina and magic
*There will be a few extra surprises in the land - in the shape of new or extra items!
The Sorcerer War League happens every Saturday at 7pm!"
The number of points to be awarded has been adjusted. I think this new scale will work better with the numbers we're expecting.

And the results after the first week are as follows:
1st - Mrnasty (10 points)
2nd - Raziel (9 points)
3rd - Osterbane (7 points)
4th - Expendable (6 points)
4th - Lordlucan (6 points)
5th - Harmless (4 points)
It was decided to run 2 rounds a week as 1 didn't last nearly long enough! So 12 points are available each week now!

Due to internet viruses and the kind.. the computer I use for internet normally (the one with the sorc war files on) is unaccessible. The sorc war will still be run this week, just maybe not by me. I can't get the (sorc war league) file I need to a different computer because my notebook no longer recognises USB sticks. If I manage to get on - great, but I hope a kindly wiz will run it in my stead, please?
The points are on this thread and they can be spent on:
1 point = wafer
2 points = mandrake
2 points = firestone
2 points = decent weapon (sabre, epee etc..)
Here's hoping my Norton can scan and find a solution.

If I remember correctly both games were won by Harmless and Kween came 2nd both times. I'll make sure to add the weekly scores too from now on.

The first round of week 4 looked like this:
Raziel 1st - 6 points
Whupped 2nd - 5 points
Kween 3rd - 4 points
Congratulations to Raziel also for being the first to attain the level of necromancer in this league!
The standings after that round looked like:
1st - Whupped (24 points)
2nd - Raziel (21 points)
3rd - Lordlucan (17 points)
4th - Harmless (16 points)
5th - Kween (14 points)
6th - Mrnasty (11 points)
7th - Osterbane (9 points)
8th - Expendable (8 points)
The second round went like this:
Mrnasty 1st - 6 points
Whupped 2nd - 5 points
Kween 3rd - 4 points
Raziel 4th - 3 points
Which makes the standings look like this so far:
1st - Whupped (29 points)
2nd - Raziel (24 points)
3rd - Kween (18 points)
4th - Mrnasty (17 points)
=== - Lordlucan (17 points)
6th - Harmless (16 points)
7th - Osterbane (9 points)
8th - Expendable (8 points)
After (a lot!) of point spending, the round ended like this:
Mrnasty 1st - 6 points
Whupped 2nd - 5 points
Raziel 3rd - 4 points
Kween 4th - 3 points
Osterbane 5th - 2 points
(It was decided to have a 3rd round as it was the final after all!)
Which means the final league score looks like:
1st - Whupped (34 points)
2nd - Kween (21 points)
3rd - Mrnasty (20 points)
4th - Lordlucan (17 points)
5th - Harmless (16 points)
6th - Raziel (15 points)
7th - Osterbane (11 points)
8th - Expendable (8 points)
Whupped is the clear champion!! Congratulations to him!
3rd place prize was 1,000 points.
2nd place prize was 2,000 points.
1st place prize is a personalised prefix for 1 month!
