When I first started to play MUD in the year 13BHP my main persona was Harry. The other two were respectively Moriarty and Eccles. They were named after two well loved characters of mine from the Goon Show. There was to be no connection in my mind between Moriarty and Sherlock Holmes. However a persona did appear called Sherlock and as Moriarty I teamed up with him a lot. It was he and I that found our way into the room beneath the swamp and reswamped again and again an unbelievable amount of treasure. (I got fodded for that). Sherlock, I understand went on to greatness when I had my brief 23 year respite from the game.
Well today I came across a new persona 'Moriarty'. Is that you Sherlock?
