I've suggested a MUD2.com vs. mudii.co.uk sorc war myself. The thing is, we'd need a good number of people on both sides. And there are a few who have been active in both.

I'm primarily a MUD2.com player. I know Hawumph used to consider himself primarily a MUD2.com player (I'm not sure if he still does, though). I think we'd need some more people who are MUD2.com players first and mudii.co.uk players second. And offhand, I'm not sure how many MUD2.com players would be willing to participate.

I'd assume that it'd be a 'home game' for the ii lot though, what with .com's foding worthless server.

You'd get less lag from two plastic cups and a few thousand miles of string.

yeah, i wouldnt have thought it would be that hard to do... just give 10 .com ppl 2 hours free time and then its just like a normal sorc war. Do we have 10 players capable of it? more importantly and unlikely do they? maybe 5/7 players would be more probable. this is just the type of thing to get the old ppl back...

Would this be a mortal only sorcerer war or would wizzes be invited to take part too?

If the sorcerer war was to be run on this site I'm sure there wouldn't be any problem with getting wizzes to help out, I'm one for starters.

I think the best thing to do would be for you, Billygoat, to claim captainship of the mudii team and then post on the mud2.com BB a message challenging the mud2.com lot to come up with a team to fight against your team. That'll probably be the only way to find out just how many people on that site would be interested.

Hmmm...I don't think it would be good if wizzes took part, they would just fod us. What's that? You meant wizzes' mortals? They don't exsist...surely?

Not everyone, Billygoat. I'm not there yet. If necessary, it could be a one-on-one sorc war with me representing MUD2.com. But I'm hoping it won't have to come to that. I'd rather have at least four or five teammates with me to take on at least five or six representatives of mudii.co.uk.

Now that prices have been lowered and a lot of players have come crawling back, how about pursueing this idea? Sounds like fun.

If you need help with it Ill give it a go.

cheers dude! problem is the .com people are all lazy as hell and cant even be arsed to answer a direct challenge on their own billboard! what is to be done?! also unfortunately my own computer is totally screwed atm so i cant play for a bit <weeks methinks> i suggest the answer is to log onto .com and shout at people until they wake up and realise how cool the idea is, even if they will get their arses kicked...
