Massive apologies for not being present all. Something came up suddenly and I hoped some kind wiz would run the bash when they realised I wasn't going to appear.

I did however forget that it was a special Giant Bash and if you guys want, I can run it next Thursday instead?

Filed by Bluestone, substitute bash-reporter on special assignment:

The tearoom filled with warlocks as the countdown began. Folly, Seifer, Kiwi, and Pushover were all preparing for the coming battle when Bluestone arrived. There was an air of anticipation or maybe it was something in the tea.

We all headed north and started to gather kit. I thought it might be fun to try out the bat this time around which doesn't seem to be the weapon of choice to kill a hedgehog. I'm not sure what everyone else was doing except that wafers were disappearing in short order. I found a boat and headed to sea in search of more treasures and useful items.

Once on druid island, I climbed to the fairy ring to see if I could espy the immense pink flying object that roams those lands, only to find it right on top of me. But there was no attack and I snuck away unscathed but empty handed. Afterwards, I teamed up with Kiwi to kill the mischief of rats and together we cleared the top floor of the Keep and slew the tiger in the Pagoda. Kiwi went on to slay the dragon and decided to become a surrealist somewhere along the line. Pushover was busy checking to see which mobiles had been practicing swimming since the bash last week and apparently none had. There was a certain amount of intermittent flushing.

I finished up the dwarves that Seifer had not gotten to and every now and then I would where the others to see what everyone was up to and what progress was being made. Strangely enough, almost every time I whered Folly, I received this message:

*wh folly
1 in the place known as "crypt beneath church".

But the SV count kept dropping and mobiles kept disappearing. I knew where Pushover was (giving swimming lessons) and Seifer had taken a break for a cup of tea, and Kiwi was prowling the pagoda and the depths of the well. So, Folly the stealth warlock must have been out there doing something, yet:

*wh folly
1 in the place known as "crypt beneath church".

It took a while for me to figure out that this wasn't to be a Giant Bash -- mainly because the giants decided not to show up. Yet there was still plenty to do. Pushover and I worked on parts of the Keep, and Folly and Pushover and I chased the crocodile (which does know how to swim but isn't keen on coming when called) around the swamp before the three of us finally managed to find it hidden in a swampy byway and slay it.

Once again, the last mobile to meet his demise was the golem -- with about 10 minutes left on the clock. A very enjoyable bash all in all. Here is a snapshot of the turnout:

Pushover the dragonfly-slaying warlock
Seifer the warlock
Misuzu the spellbindress
Cenedra the anti-social mage
Kiwi the dragon-slaying, surrealist warlock
Bluestone the mage-basher necromancer
Hellokitty the protector
Folly the warlock

Neat report cheers Kaif, btw I was surreal fronm the start! I understand that seifer was distracted by RL phone calls and had to drop out - this was probably after I saw him in the dwarfs.... I did see folly busy out at sea on my way to the isle..... I was pretty hacked off at the golem as I went in on full stM with valetant ans still had to flee !!! I think he has been getting training somehow!

Great write up, good to see we've got another bash win on the board for 2014.

But I like the CBC. It's cosy! I also completely forgot all about the invis spell during the bash, so not that stealthy... but let's not dwell on that.

Here's a quick view of what I was up to. Some fights took longer than others. And other fights took longer than that. I hate that Phoenix...

Anyway:

(+128 = 55,680)
You have killed the hunchback.
(+150 = 55,835).
You have killed the thief.
(+257 = 56,120). - too slow Bluestone
You have killed the mongoose.
(+43 = 56,864).
You have killed the piglet.
(+22 = 56,956).
You have killed the scorpion.
(+44 = 57,015)

You have killed the ape3.
(+158 = 60,000).
You have killed the ape2.
(+128 = 60,128)
You hear a parried blow, as the skeleton2 misses Kiwi the dragon-slaying,
