could you pls add some more instructions - the readme doesn’t seem to relate to what I downloaded. Exactly where do you need to be to compile the java - and does it need ant - or can you use the old javac?

(java is NOT my first language - as you can probably tell!!)

I fixed the link in the opening post. There was a trailing dot that confused the forum.

All you need to do (assuming you have java installed) is to follow the Getting Started instructions: https://github.com/curious-attempt-bunny/mudiiclient#getting-setup (not the building it yourself instructions).

yeah - actually got it running after I posted - and reread your README. Now what I want to do is change some stuff and recompile - its open source after all - been trying netbeans as an ide - i'll let you know how i go - but do NOT hold your breath!
