 The OBIT command lists which player characters, if any, have died in that particular set of MUD2.

Sometimes, it might give some interesting listings, such as this one.

*obit
The following players have died in fights this reset:
Grandma the protector, killed by the reindeer,
Radiostar the yeoman, killed by Video the warrior.
