It's no big secret that MUD2 has a number of silly responses when people try strange things. Some of these responses, however, are probably seen by accident.
Take for example, this little exchange.
*follow me
This is just a little message to dissuade you from walking around yelling,
"Hey, you can follow yourself!"...
Most players, unless they're just deliberately messing around, will probably see that response accidentally, when they're telling other players to follow them and leave out the quotation marks that indicate speech to other players and not commands to the game itself.
I'm trying to come up with other examples of funny messages players might stumble on by accident.
