Although I can't help but feel that the logo at the top would do better without the exclamation mark.

Agreed...I don't like the bit of shadow under the E on the logo either.

Yeah I agree about the exclamation mark.. however the shadow under the E is actually part of the background which says [MUD]

Smart, glad you haven't used frames, they are without a doubt the most overused part of HTML.
Some sites need em, most dont.
