Right, postcode of Wetherspoons is NG1 2JS. I got lists of accomdation and directions so ill type em out and upload em...somewhere.

Theres the Holiday Inn which is just round the corner from Spoons. Its a bit hefty at 49 quid a night but I thought I would mention it. Ring 0870 4009061 for details
Thats the only one in city centre which is kinda cheap and not a hostel.
These are a short taxi/bus ride away, assuming you are reasonably intelligent. If not, i can help you but ask me before I start drinking...
Acorn Hotel-This is just near Trent Bridge..cricket...Its ?35 a night and no is 0115 9811297.
Balmoral Hotel-Near Acorn. Differenr road. 0115 9552992. ?29 a night.

Both on same road as each other and same area as other 2.
I got a whole book full of em! Try those for now. Date of meet is set for Aug 2nd for certain.

The usual time for meets to "formally" start is 2pm in the designated drinking establishment, but often people are there before then, say 1pm or maybe earlier?!
Some people are known to start on the friday night 19:30 or 20:00 for a curry and a pint!
Not sure who they would be tho' .....
