One of my hard drives died the other day. I just realised it was the one with all my mud logs on it. Argh.
Now how will I remember how to play the game?!

Do you seriously look back on your logs? I've got years worth of them but rarely read them. I think most of the interesting stuff happened before I could log.

I look at my logs-inadequate though they show me to be  handy after short or long breaks from the game.
I'd love logs of way back when - like wp days but like Karya above I couldn't log back then. (WP client limitation?)

I look at my logs occasionally, couple times a year maybe. I don't look at them for hints of clues or anything that I might have forgotten, mostly because they're just fun screen-shots. My MUD client doesn't allow terribly good logs.
Most of mine are around 2000 anyway  .
And some are a little random.. like being doted by "someone" about 20 times for absolutely no reason heh.

Hi Heiach, you probably don't know me unless you're also Silly, Striker or Snodbank  I've been playing on and off for a few years, more off than on though. I'm trying to play more often these days though.
As for logs, my client auto logs but I never read through them. I do make notes and they have been invaluable after I've taken a break from mud. I have found they're not always accurate though as my recent silly deaths have proved

Speaking of logs, I got some going back years! Shame I put them on floppy discs and some don't work *sobs*. It is so cool to look back and laugh at the silliness going on sometimes
