Some folks found mudiiclient a bit tricky to install, or once they did it wouldn't save log files on Windows. Both issues have now been addressed.

Heiach the wizard
Posted by Foddy on 28-10-2010 at 11:59

It's been a while, but I am delighted to annouce that we have a new wiz at!

After one of the quickest rise through the ranks in wizrunning history, Marlock completed his journey by swamping the crown, reaching the level of Wizard.

Marlock is better known to us as Heiach, and will from now on be known as Heiach the wizard.

Congratulations to him!

Happy Christmas 2009!

Help test the new Website MUD client!
Posted by foddy on 01-01-2007 at 19:04

As you may, or may not, know, two new clients are being written for the game. One is a stand-alone client written by Havoc (which he has already posted about). The other is a Java applet for the website.

This website client will replace the (pretty awful) telnet applet which you currently get when you click on the connect now button at the top of the page. Its aim is to be newbie-friend but still usable as a client.

The client has been through some testing (thanks to everyone who has so far). We're now ready for more widespread testing. If you would like to test the client, please see the web page here. Note that you must click on the "connect now" button at the bottom of the page, not the one at the top!
