BEYOND A BASH

We have now had eight wins on a Thursday night in a row. This is a fantastic run after so many weeks of failing. There is a danger that it will be perceived by some that it has all become too easy. The truth of the matter is that we are getting much more support for the bashes than we had a year ago and the players seem largely to me to be bordering on hi-life. We had three Necros. and two Sorcs. playing last night.

The time has now come to consider what we can do that is more challenging. There are, as I see it, two options: We can allow the Wizzes to make the bashes more difficult on an ad hoc basis, as they appear to be doing at the moment or we can ask them to set up different events. Those could include a Dragon Bash, a SorcWar, a Quest or, dare I suggest it, a Spectackerler (look it up in MUDSpeke).

If you think the second option is a way forward, I suggest that such events should take place on a different night than a Thursday, keeping that evening free for the existing bashes, and not necessarily very week. Once a month on a Monday or a Tuesday would be ideal.

These have to be organised and I am also asking if Wizzes would be prepared to take on the organisation.

Treasure Hunt. I forgot to mention Treasure Hunt, another possibility.

I would't mind a different event to mix things up a bit.
We have become something akin to the Germans with our ruthless efficiency in recent bashes.

I'd love to take part in a Dragon Bash - never been on one before

Have you ever tried the 'burning brand on the path' task?

O.K. I will bite. Expand please.

I have in the past collected all the brands and put them in the TC and set light to the lot under the mammoth encased in ice. It's not that. Is it?

That's called being a stick man. I've tried that. It works a treat.......for a while, then someone kills you. Mind you when the killer picks up all dropped treasure and lighted brand in one go then goes ZW....

There are more brands available than the ones that one can find scattered on the ground, you know. Many more.
