I'm not sure if anyone has read the short books Live and Learn and Pass it On, but they are notes from people of all ages about things they've learned in life. Some are serious, some are funny.

Here's a sample of three entries:

I've learned that you can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk (Age 5)

I've learned that goldfish don't like jello (Age 7).

I've learned that I don't feel my age as long as I focus on my dreams and not my regrets (Age 83).

Mabye it's silly but I thought it might be fun to try the same thing with Mudii (no game secrets!).

So, here's one:

I've learned that people with short names are often newbies or very experienced players.

Anyone else?

Also, players with dangerous/harmless sounding names often are the opposite.

Best before date, if it's on fire, radioactive, property of a magic using mobile, consumable but secretly worth 1000 points etc.

...to read room descriptions carefully and that there really is a reason why the name of the Conductor changes in the music programme.

Players accept dying/losing points, unless caused by another player.

I've noticed... .

I've learned to try and take note of what others are carrying (when I can see them, that is).

P.S. How'd you get such a high profile post (the space between the profile line and the bottom of the post)? - curious George

Don't write much and have a profile pic/info that takes up more room, that's all.

When engaged in fisticuffs at your site, you can't escape by fleeing and resiting.

Apologies to M. Curie

Nothing in Mud is to be feared, it is only to be understood.
