BASH LANCE-CORPORAL?S REPORT.
This was a strange bash. There was what only can be described as an ?atmosphere? right from the start. Things just did not did go as they ought. The worst omen was that poor CF was in a bad way in real life and could stay only long enough to do a reset. At the begining were seven players in the Tearoom and we each more or less volunteered to take on different area of combat in a very democratic way while waiting for the reset.
Things got off to a steady start but someone shouted that the mobiles seemed easy to kill this evening and that put the mockers on everything. We soon lost two players. Meep fell to the Wolf and I did, to the Vampire. More people appeared on scene and both the Giants and the Pag opened up and there was a rumour about the Redwoods also being open. I don?t thing the mood was right for a bash. After a while, there were eleven players of whom nine had retired to the Tearoom chatting. Katie and Elthorin were battling the whole land between them, Katie getting the credit for killing the Dragon.
The conversation in the Tearoom was lively enough being centered mainly on the forthcoming MUDmeet. There was the usual to-ing and fro-ing.
But no bash would be complete without Blib. His appearance usually is a rally to the troops and he normally gets things going but his coming on at the high level of Swordsman was such a shock to everyone that no one could move or even say anything for a while.
An SV at 14 mins to go showed 152 alive and 143 dead. Elthorin was by now himself in the Tearoom so Katie must have been on her own. And that?s how it ended.
Remember there will be no bash next week as a quest is planned.

I did my part in the bash, by killing Blib's swordsman. Sadly by then it was too late...
