FROM YOUR BASH CORRESPONDENT (BY COMMAND OF THE BASH-GENERAL).

Last night's bash was a text book example of how a bash should go.

We began with only 156 mobiles and perhaps half a dozen players. JB was elected Bash-General and under his leadership everything went like clockwork right from the start.

Under some sort of tacit understanding, we each took a diffent area of the land to concentrate on and the SV count started to go down very quickly. We were down to 112 with 87 minutes to go; 51 with 63 minutes left; and 37 with 53. That's good going.

On a personal note, I was determined to play it safe. And was doing so happily when I felt that perhaps I ought to help out with the dwarfs after all. Big mistake. I happened upon eight at the Entrance to the Cit. and one of them blocked me in. Needless to say I ended up fleeing.

Soon we were down to 15 in 45. But this included the sea life and the dreaded spider. Though not for long.

The final mobile to be killed was the narwharl. I am not sure what time was left but it was a good margin.

Only then did someone (probably Hal) open up the Redwoods. But no one wished to continue.

This was a classic bash where eveyone did their own bit yet worked as a team and there was no unpleasantness.

It wasn't me!! I didn't leave the tearoom once during the entire bash set. Unless you're trying to imply I used the secret Redwood-opening button in the tearoom?
