Hello all. It has become apparent that you have all tired of mobile bashs. I would like to organise a sorcerer war for this Thursday. I know its short notice but hey, im a wacky kinda guy.

Also, as per usual, I am always open to suggestions and would love to return our social nights to the fun they used to be. However, if sitting in the tea room is what you prefer, let me know

Cf

Does anyone put on a 'spectacular' like they used to in MUD1?

Bit like a sorceror war only everyone starts as a novice and there's no magical enhancement: you have to run about looking for a weapon and as soon as you have one (or sooner if someone else gets one first and finds YOU!) you go hunting for other players

Armand would have to agree. He's the only one who knows how to open up The Golf Course.

We've held a couple of Extravaganzas which were based on the MUD1 Spectacular. The Extravaganzas were like sorcerer wars but everyone started as a novice. After 30 minutes those left alive were given 20k points (but no magic), fighting continued, another 30 minutes and survivors were given another 20k points, another 30 minutes, then those left were put onto the dragon isle until only one was left alive.

There is a review of the first extravaganza here. We have tended to limit extravaganzas to very special occasions.

I won overall, with possibly my first ever Sorc War kill, the last one of the war. My prize was the crown and also a fight with BillyGoat for my insolence.

Zedar won 'most kills', with an incredible 13, I think. He got 3 icons but I think he gave them away.

My log has been sent to Muddled Times.

To me!

I think he took pity on my pathetic attempts at finding people, and the hilarious way in which I managed to lose once I did!

I have tried to put this log into Muddled Times, believe me, we have spent a lot of time to get this in BUT unfortunately the way the your client logs seems to conflict with the Muddled Times website, coupled with the sheer size of the log caused it to take many minutes to load. We even tried splitting it into 4 parts but this didn't help.

So sorry, no sorcerer war log in this issue. Out of interest, which client did you use?

No worries, you got the other one in.

I use Havoc's "mud2pj (v0.9c)" client, from here :
